Catering
All children eat together in the dining hall, creating a family atmosphere. Cooked meals, including a vegetarian option, are available and children are offered a choice of main courses and puddings. Fruit and water are always available.
The cost of a school meal is £2.45 per day or £12.25 per week and menus can be found at the bottom of the page. Please can you pay at the office weekly. Please give as much notice as possible to the School Office if you want to change your child’s lunchtime arrangements.
Free school meals
If your family income is low your child may be entitled to a free school meal. It’s important to register for entitlement to free school meals, even if your child has a packed lunch – this is so we can receive additional funding (called the pupil premium) which we can use to help your child.
You can claim Free School Meals if you receive one of the following:
- Income Support
- Job Seekers Allowance Income Based
- Employment and Support Allowance Income Related
- Child Tax Credit with annual income of less than £16,190 (as assessed by Tax Credits)
- If you receive both Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit, you do not qualify for Free School Meals
- Guarantee Pension Credit
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

Ask at the school office for a form and a leaflet or telephone 01472 323732 or you can call in to the Civic Offices, Knoll Street, Cleethorpes, N E Lincolnshire, DN35 8LN
Packed lunches
If you do not want your child to have a school meal they can instead bring a packed lunch. This should be in a secure named container. Please put your child’s name on the outside to help them to identify it easily. A drink should be provided in a non breakable container. No sweets or fizzy drinks are allowed – instead, we encourage lots of fruit, vegetables and water.
